The United States supported Israel since the end of WWll when it was created as a homeland for Jews displaced during the war. European officials literally told Palestine that they no longer owned that tract of land because it was Israel's now. So, the Arab Empire was controlled by and based on religion. The mongol empire was based on the want for power. However the similarity between them is they both wanted to conquer.
