Write a short travelogue in about 50 words explaining your visit to any tourist destination back in your home country
Valentin [98]
The Philippines is a popular tourist destination. you come to visit its many sights around the country or just to spend your holiday in one spot, you’re sure to have a dream vacation here. If rest and relaxation is your primary reason to visit, you won’t be disappointed. Since this Southeast Asian country is made up of many islands, beach resorts in the Philippines abound, each offering a smorgasbord of water activities and relaxation options. One of the best ways to improve your mindset is to relax and let the stress melt away. A good place to do this is the Fairways and Bluewater Newcoast on Boracay Island. You can walk on white sand beaches with tremendous blue water views, play 18 holes of golf on a championship course, sit on your balcony gazing at calming views or swim in one of four pools. You can also soak in the whirlpool, have a massage or spend a day at the spa.

Help I literally have no idea
DerKrebs [107]

Answer:

The author uses onomatopoeia in the words "Bam, bam, bam".

Explanation:

Onomatopoeia is the way words are formed according to the sound that is produced. This means that the words that represent a sound are the same as the exact way it sounds.

This means that the word "bang" or "hiss" or "buzz" are onomatopoeic as they not only represent the sound it makes but also are the spellings for those words. And in the given passage, the author uses onomatopoeia in the words <em>"Bam, bam, bam"</em>.

Thus, the author's use of onomatopoeia in the passage is <em>"Bam, bam, bam."</em>

Grendel and Beowulf, compare and contrast the characteristics of monsters and heroes. Answer in a paragraph of eight to ten sent
ziro4ka [17]
Beowulf is a classic hero of Anglo-Saxon literature. He appears when the king is most in need and saves the day by defeating the monster which is terrorizing the village. He is strong and honorable, and cares deeply for his countrymen who help him on his endeavors. Once he becomes king, he rules justly, and fights his last battle with the dragon, even though he is quite old - but he knows that he has to protect his kingdom.
On the other had, Grendel is a classic villain in the story. He is evil, but not inherently per se, but because he is a monster, and everybody is afraid of him although he hadn't done anything bad in his "youth." However, he turns evil once he becomes jealous of the people who have everything he will never be able to have. Thus he murders them, until a strong warrior like Beowulf comes, and makes him scared for the first time in his life, before killing the monster, of course.
