uth in which there was any element of certainty was based upon the success of the princess in discovering this mystery; and the moment he looked upon her, he saw she had succeeded, as in his soul he knew she would succeed. Then it was that his quick and anxious glance asked the question: "Which?" It was as plain to her as if he shouted it from where he stood. There was not an instant to be lost. Answer:

The beginning of the sentence that should start a new paragraph is: Then it was that his quick and anxious ...

The change of focus occurs when it is narrated that the princess realizes by the look the boy asked him what he wanted to do.

Explanation:

A paragraph is the set of one or more phasic periods whose prayers are held by the same group of ideas and center of interest. Thus, a paragraph is a unit of meaning, inserted in a cohesive textual whole. In this case, the first paragraph shows a group of ideas that focus on the same thing that is the conviction that the boy had that the princess had unraveled the mystery. The other paragraph is formed with a group of ideas that focus on the certainty of the princess in knowing what the boy was thinking.

Why aren't harrison's parents more emotionally impacted by the death of their son?
Sauron [17]
In Vonnegut's Harrison Bergeron, Harrison's parents are incapable of being emotionally impacted by their son's death due to their numerous handicaps.

Because they are so handicapped, they are unable to concentrate or focus on something for more than a moment. Their handicaps prevent them from thinking clearly or remembering details. As a result, although they initially feel sad, they quickly forget what happened and continue watching television.
