Answer:

Capulet - He believes that his family’s social status is moreimportant than love or happiness.

Mercutio - He dies in a duel because of his pride and his anger.

Juliet - She is torn between her love for her husband and her grief over her cousin’s death.

Romeo-He believes that being banished from Verona andseparated from his love is worse than being sentenced to death.

Nurse - She tries to convince her mistress to leave her husband and marry another man.

Explanation:

In Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, the characters are all tragic persons with different trgedies happening to all of them, Capulet valued social status and honor higher than love and happiness, he wanted to keep the family as "honorable and well conected" and he promises his daughter to Paris, Mercutio is Romeo´s best friend and dies in a duel that Romeo refuses to fight for Juliet´s honor, Juliet is Mercutio´s cousin and she marries Romeo on a secret ceremony, Romeo after marrying Juliet is banished from Verona by the prince as punishment as Juliet was already promised to other man, so he has to leave the city where Juliet lives, and he sees a life without her as non-worth living. finally the nurse is like Juliet´s adoptive mom who has been taking care of her for her whole life and as she finds out about the pardon that Juliet would get if she leaves Romeo and marries Paris she tries to convince her to leave her husband Romeo to marry Paris.
