If a nonregular hexagon has five exterior angle measures of 52, 57, 69, 54, and 54, then the measure of the interior angle adjac
goblinko [34]
All the 5 angles are equal to 286, so....
360 - 286 = 74
then,
180 aka a straight line
180 - 74 = 106

interior is 74
exterior is 106

A cone has a volume of 2,355 cubic inches and a height of 10 inches. How many inches is the diameter of the cone
Neporo4naja [7]

Hello there,

Okay well first we right down what we already know:

- volume of 2,355 cubic inches

- the height is 10 inches

Now we write down the equation for the volume of a cone: V = πr²\frac{h}{3}

  • lets plug in what we know into the equation

                                     2,355 = πr²\frac{10}{3}

  • now we simplify to solve for r

                          2,355 / 10/3 = 706.5 = πr²

                           706.5/π = r²= 224.89

  • now since its r² we take the square root of 224.89

                            r = 15 inches

  • for diameter we multiply 15 by 2

                           diameter = 30 inches

Hope I helped,

Amna

If a sprinkler waters 1 over 18 of a lawn in 1 over 3 of an hour, how much time will it take to water the entire lawn?
valentina_108 [34]
A. Since it took 1 over 3 of an our you take the 3 and the 18 and do 18 divided by 3 and the answer is 6 so it would take 6 hours. Your welcome:)

For the inverse variation equation xy = k, what is the constant of variation, k, when x = 2 and y = 5?
Yanka [14]

Keywords:

Equation of inverse variation, variables, variation constant

For this case we have an inverse variation equation given by two variables, x and y respectively. This equation is represented by: xy = k, we must find the value of the variation constant "k" whenx = 2and y = 5. Then, we must substitute the values of "x" and "y" given in the inverse variation equation and find the constant "k":

xy = k\\2 * 5 = k\\k = 10

Thus, the value of the constant of variation "k" is 10.

Answer:

k = 10
