Answer:

A) Impoverished people came to rely on the government as a means of last resort---> Government took on a more active role in people's lives.

Explanation:

The New Deal consisted of president Franklin D. Roosevelt's programs that would help America escape the Great Depression. These programs saw a huge increase in federal government's power of the economy and the life of every day citizens. New work programs like the Works Progress Administration and Civilian Conservation Corps were formed to employ millions of previously unemployed American citizens. This shifted the way in which the people saw the government, as they now felt that the government had an imperative role in helping citizens in times of economic crisis.

Give any two causes of the decline of the Rajput power after the death of Aurangzeb.
Ronch [10]
The Mughals did not follow any law of succession like the law of primogeniture. Consequently, each time a ruler died, a war of succession between the brothers for the throne started. This weakened the Mughal Empire, especially after Aurangzeb. It is generally believed by the historians that one of the major causes of the decline of the Mughal empire was the policy of conflict followed by Aurangzeb with the Rajput’s.
