Answer:

$68 and 4 pizzas

Step-by-step explanation:

First pf all, lets see how many pizzas were sold. As 8 slices are 1 pizza, we can see how many pizzas is one slice making the ratio:

1/8 = 0.125

So, 1 slice is 0.125 pizzas.

Then, 32 slices are: 32 * 0.125 = 4

32 slices are then 4 pizzas.

For gettinh the money we just need to multiply quantities for prices.

The money for pizza is:

32 * $1.5 = $48

The money for sodas is:

16 * $1.25 = $20

The total money is then: $48 + $20 = $68

Branda and Laurie have rectangular shaped backyards. Branda's yard measures 35 feet by 90 feet. Laurie's yard measures 40 feet b
tia_tia [17]
To find the area of each backyard, we need to multiply the length and width together.

For Branda, her yard is 35 by 90, which means the area is 35*90 which = 3150.

For Laurie, her yard is 40 by 65, which means the area is 40*65 which = 2600.

Now, we are asked to find the difference between Branda and Lauries yard areas. The difference means how much larger Branda's area is than Lauries.

This means we have to subtract Laurie's area from Branda's.

So, we do 3150 - 2600 = 550

So, our answer is 550ft^2

Find the exact value of cos(arcsin(one fourth)). For full credit, explain your reasoning.
photoshop1234 [79]
We are asked to give the exact value of cos(arcsin(one fourth)). In this case, we shift first the setting to degrees since this involves angles. we determine first arc sin of one fourth equal to 14.48 degrees. then we take the cos of 14.48 degrees equal to 0.9682. Answer is 0.9682.
