Regardless of what type of manager you are in any business setting and industry, analytics would only help you in making the best decisions or evaluations. Since analytics are data-driven, you can be more certain in your measurements of success and in determining the right action to take to reach the milestone you wish to attain.

Thus, the best answer for the question is (D) all of the above.

At which level will a manager use analytics to make decisions? All of the above. A manager will use analytics to make deisions at the operational, managerial and strategic level of management. Managers need to make sure they make their decisions based off of analytics and facts not just what they think is the right decision. By using analytics, they are able to back up their decisions and explain why those are the decisions that are being made.

Cynthia is a hospitality worker in the lodging industry who prefers to cater to small groups of people. She might want to open a bed and breakfast. If Cynthia enjoys working with others in the lodging industry, but on a smaller scale, a bed and breakfast is the perfect place for Cynthia to open that stays with her love for lodging but without the large hotel chain group of people. A bed a breakfast is usually a smaller place with roughly 10 rooms to rent out as if you were staying in a hotel.

mihalych1998 [28]

Answer:

Break-even point (dollars)= $480,000

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

Fixed costs are $114000.

Sales mix:

Planes= 0.75

Kits= 0.25

Contribution margin ratio:

Planes= 0.20

Kits= 0.35

To calculate the break-even point in dollars, we need to use the following formula:

Break-even point (dollars)= Total fixed costs / Weighted average contribution margin ratio

Weighted average contribution margin ratio= sales mix*contribution margin ratio

Weighted average contribution margin ratio= 0.75*0.2 + 0.25*0.35

Weighted average contribution margin ratio= 0.2375

Break-even point (dollars)= 114,000/0.2375

Break-even point (dollars)= $480,000
