happens slowly over time only occurs below the species level is any change in the DNA of an organism can be caused by genetic dr
LUCKY_DIMON [66]

Answer:

The correct answer is - microevolution.

Explanation:

Microevolution is the very small evolutionary change specially allele frequencies on the level of species that occurs slowly over period of time. These changes occurs on the level of DNA or genetic level.

These evolution can be caused by the natural selection process or genetic drift over the generation of the species or population over period of the time. It is the study of the evolution that occurred on level of separated gene pool.

Thus, the correct answer is- microevolution.

What does the “substrate” in substrate level phosphorylation tell you?
Paul [167]

Answer:

Substrate-level phosphorylation is a metabolic reaction that results in the formation of ATP or GTP by conversion of a higher energy substrate (whether phosphate group attached or not) into lower energy product and a using some of the released chemical energy, the Gibbs free energy, to transfer a phosphoryl (PO3) group to ADP or GDP from another phosphorylated compound.

How can interactions between alleles genes and the environment affect an organism's traits?
Nataly_w [17]
Genes code for proteins. That way they determine biological structures and functions. Besides genes, the environment has the great impact on the structure of an organism. Alleles and genes will give a trait, but the environment can affect it. For example, alleles that are responsible for height will give a person some average height. But if the person begins to train basketball at the early age (during growth), the person will overcome the average height. This is the effect of the environment and not genes. The other example is that if a person lives in a sunny region, the person will be tan.
