Transpiration is the loss of water from trees. This water is the chief component of water cycle. Deforestation will reduce the number of trees this will reduce the overall transpiration rate of the area. The water vapor from the forests trees releases into the atmosphere where it condenses into clouds and water vapors get precipitated in the form of rain. Therefore, transpiration will affect the occurrence of rain hence, will affect the water cycle.
