Well the answer is 23 weeks but the equation is
(50 - 5) / 2 = 23
because you already have 5 dollars you subtract that from the total you want which is 50, so you now need to save up 45 dollars. 2 dollars a week for 23 weeks will give you 46 dollars. Add the 5 you already have you have 51 dollars.
