Etruscans were famous for their wall frescoes in tombs. They used to paint the walls of tombs with bright colors, they showed birds flying, fish jumping, the ocean, elements of nature, people interacting. The Etruscans influenced the Romans that took some of their aspects and developed it. Romans also decorated their tombs with paintings like the Etruscans, but they also used this art at their homes, in their bedrooms as a way of enjoyment. This is clearly seen in Pompeii.
