How do you find the domain and range of a function?

Mathematics

Domain is the input and/or x
Range is the output and/or y
So to find the domain you would look for the x axis in a graphed function, the input on a table, or the numbers in a problem that would be on that axis or side of the table. Same for range

Domain and range can be found from the graph ...
Domain is the values of x-coordinates and Range are the values of y-coordinates .
FOR EXAMPLE:
(1,6)(8,2)..... 1 and 8 are x-coordiantes and hence DOMAIN.
6 and 2 are y-coordinates and hence RANGE.

A movie theater designs two bags to hold 250 cubic inches of popcorn each.
grigory [225]

Answer:

5 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

Well two bags hold 250 cubic inches, which means one bag will hold 125 cubic inches.

Then you cube route 125 because its cubic inches.

\sqrt[3]{125} = 5

So I would think its five inches but I may be wrong <3

A bakery used 38 pounds of flour to make French bread and
fomenos

Answer:

since we are not given the options, I will write down a few equations that represent the number of French bread loaves and bagels:

  • a = number of loaves of French bread
  • b = number of bagels
  • available amount of flour = 38

2a + b ≤ 38

2a ≤ 38 - b

a ≤ (38 - b) / 2

a ≤ 19 - 0.5b

b ≤ 38 - 2a

b ≤ 2(19 - a)

Hopefully one of these equations is one of the choices given to you.
