Decoding is the process of translating a message received into understandable language or symbols.
Encoding is the process of transforming a message into a format that can be sent as signals from the sender to the receiver.
Decoding, on the other hand, is the process of transforming an encoded message back into a form that can be understood by a recipient. However, the complete encoding and decoding process is referred to as communication.
Reading depends on decoding. It enables children to decode the majority of words they have heard but never seen written down, as well as sound out unfamiliar ones. The basis for all other reading instruction is the capacity to decode.

Even though it was a long time ago, before my time, believe me it hurts. Even today, the damage still has not been repaired. It can not be. No amount of money or anything can equal what was done. When I look back and identify with the holocaust, by reading the book of Anne Frank as a young girl, and reading the history of the holocaust I could identify with what was happening and it was and still is horrifying. Never Again, should this ever happen! I believe that had anyone known what was to come, they would rather have died rather than go thru the torture that they endured. Death was desired once in the hands of the enemy. The Nazi's at that time dehumanized the idea of a jewish person being a human being. It scares me to think that a world would allow such a disgraceful in-humane thing, but they went along with it. It makes me wonder, where was God when this happened. Any belief was shaken if not deleted at a time like this. It is really hard to capture my true feelings when I type this, and to look at the past, and see the live tapes of how it was, makes me want to close my eyes and pretend it didn't really happen, because to believe it shows just how evil, man can be when given the opportunity. Man has always been his own worst enemy. When I sit here and answer this question, I get sickened. My sincere love for man kind as a whole and belief that no one, not even a dog, deserved to be treated like that. And no one who treated anyone that way could ever repay the debt. The Jews had to endure this terrible fate to say the least. I had even read about the jews skin being used to make lampshades. I don't know how anyone could let this happen. The children, and the elderly didn't stand a chance. Families destroyed, records destroyed, being pulled apart, burned, shot, babies being cut out of the tummy of mothers and the wars. My opinion on the holocaust is that it happened, and it is real. As horrible as it was, it happened. We as a nation and as a people, should never give anyone the power to do what was done. Just like slavery in America. Never Again. It sickens me to say the least, that man can justify killing another. they didn't just kill them, that would have been better had they just killed them, but that wasn't good enough. They had to torture and dehumanize a race of people who didn't deserve it. I have even read that they blamed the Jews for killing Jesus. I don't care what the situation could or would have been. It was wrong. It would be nice to get the best answer but you know what, it was nice just to vent and let this out. I have thought about it often and I am not a Jew. At least I don't think I am. Aren't we really all the same inside. Enough of the stupid prejudices based on the color of ones skin, or the race of the person. Enough is enough, and too much stinks, and some of our history smells. May our leaders be wise enough to make good decisions for all of our countries and may we learn to live in peace for all men and woman, regardless to the exterior. Even today as I get my moment to give just my opinion and my thoughts, there are a people, some where being tortured and killed for the same thing. NOTHING. May we stand up and stop this madness, so that no one has to endure these things. I wish we could pray it to happen or will it to happen but we can't. The madness must be stopped. Let it began with us. Countries, need to stop killing the things that are different, the things they can conquer just because of greed and ugly hatred. Man has always been his own worse enemy. That's why its impossible to not believe that there has to be a place either in the next life if there is such a place where these things don't happen. I see no reason why it can't be peace on Earth. All we need to do is let it happen. Man, is the one who is stopping it. I am sincere in saying that it scares me. Hopefully it scares you too. Hopefully enough to never ever, ever allow it to happen again. To anyone. Ever. Thank you for allowing me to vent. May the creator help us all.
