He constantly says that Brutus was an honorable man when he means just the opposite.

In his speech, Antony keeps telling the people about bad things that Brutus has done, each time ending by saying that Brutus is an honorable man. By doing this, Antony is highlighting the fact that he thinks Brutus acted dishonorably. The people agree with him because of how effective his irony is. This is shown by their anger at Brutus and the conspirators.

Compound sentence with words sharecropper and windswept
Flura [38]
First of all, you need to know what a compound sentence is. It is a sentence which contains at least two independent clauses. Having that in mind, here is an example of such a sentence containing words sharecropper and windswept:
The sharecropper worked in the windswept fields the entire day and then went home to eat some food.
There are two independent clauses here: 1. the sharecropper worked in the windswept fields + and + 2. then (he) went home to eat some food.

What was Santiago most likely thinking when he pulled his skiff ashore?
Elenna [48]

In the text, it is said that he got to the shore and then did everything possible to carry the mast with him, besides, everyone was sleeping so nobody could help him.

Therefore, the option that better fits with the story is option D, as he attempted to carry the gear by himself several times, despite failing to do so and falling asleep in the process.

What motivates Odysseus to tell a lie to the Cyclops?
muminat
He lied to him because he knew that the Cyclops would call his brothers, when blinded, so he said his name was "nobody" so as to have the Cyclops yell out: "Nobody has blinded me". This in turn caused his brothers to not react at all, because they thought that gods had blinded his brother, therefore he is yelling that Nobody blinded him. Let's say then that the third sentence is the only one that can fit the story.
