The answer is: C. The. right to be happy in life .

The Declaration of Independence, written primarily by Thomas Jefferson in 1776 to leave Britain's unfair rule, claims that people possess the "inalienable right" to pursue what makes them happy. These rights are natural and guaranteed, and cannot be taken away from people.

Pros and cons of taoism
Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer:

To say the least, the pros are: Taoism represents and reflects a view of the world and nature.

Taoism represents a view of life that also allows for other schools of thought to be used simultaneously.

It can be used by Legal analysts and as well as Confucians.

Schools of thought from around the world and from different nationalities know of it and its importance.

Taoism encourages self-knowledge and reflection.

Taoism provided a counter-balance to the organization of Confucianism.

Taoism devoted its energies to reflection and introspection so the natural principles that governed the world could be clearly understood.

However, the cons are that it undermines the power of most governments, since its beliefs are that nature is the ruling power. Taoism also caused the Yellow Turban Rebellion, which decreased the power of the government in Zhou, China.

But then again, the Dao or Tao refers to "the way of nature" or "the way of the universe" and so that stands in direct opposition to the majority of government rules throughout the world in some way or another. But for those who respect nature and believes that nature is the ruling authority, Taoism would be the ideal religion to follow.

How do rules and laws protect people from being treated unfairly? Do laws protect everyone equally?
Alona [7]

Short answer is probably:

- Rules and laws protect unfair treatment by placing consequences on actions that would be seen as unfair. It holds people to a standard of avoiding that act or else punishment will occur.

-Unfortunately though, not all people are judged the same. Things such as bribery, an unfair judgment, bias, and other evading techniques occur more than you would think, and it means that some people who deserve consequences for their actions may get lesser or avoid those consequences completely.

Hope this helps! :)

In monetary terms, the relationship between savings and investment is modeled, rather than being an accounting identity.

7.      President Harding was elected in 1920 due, in large   part because he promised a “return to normalcy,” or   the way things were before WWI.  America embarked on 20 years of relative isolationism.  Throughout the 1920’s the United States experienced an economic boom unlike anything seen before or since.  The 1930’s ushered in a new era, one of poverty, want, and starvation.  Crops failed in the Midwest due largely to the phenomenon known as the “Dust Bowl.”

For the most part, American response to Fascist aggression was virtually nonexistent.  Throughout the 1930’s America and the Roosevelt Administration was concerned about it’s own Economic well-being, rather than wider world affairs.  With American unemployment at 25% nationwide, you can see why Roosevelt was more concerned with domestic affairs.

As WWII grew closer, however, America did begin a modest building up of its military.  The Roosevelt Administration also supported the Allies in Europe with weapons (Lend-Lease, Cash and Carry) and instituted economic sanctions against an expansionist Japan.
