Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of triangle: x^(2)

Area of rectangle: 3x^(2) - 5x + 2

The inequality: x^(2) < 3x^(2) - 5x + 2

Solutions:  x < 1/2 or x > 2

Values of x (if x > 2): 3,4,5,6

Values of x (if x < 1/2): 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6

You have seven cards, numbered 3 through 9, and you pick one at random. If you pick a card with a prime number, you get 1 point;
Roman55 [17]

Answer:

He has \frac{-1}{7} number of points

Step-by-step explanation:

We have given that numbers from 3 to 9

So numbers will be 3,4,5,6,7,8,9

Here prime numbers are 3,5,7

And composite numbers are 4,6,8,9

So probability of getting prime number = \frac{3}{7}

And probability of getting composite number =\frac{4}{7}

It is given that if he gets prime number then he get 1 point and if he get composite number then he loss 1 point '

So value of number of point he has = 1\times \frac{3}{7}-1\times \frac{4}{7}=\frac{-1}{7}

100 POINTS PLZ HELP! EASY MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH!
Tanya [424]
(a)
- right-most point is (6,12) (always use this one)
- left-most point is (3,31)
- slope is 9/-3

point-slope form : y-12 = 9/-3(x-6)

my work portion:

y-12 = 9/-3(x-6)

•SIMPLIFY 9/-3

y-12 = -3(x-6)

•DISTRIBUTE -3(x-6)

y-12 = -3x+18

• MOVE -12 ONTO THE OTHER SIDE AND CHANGE ITS SIGN

y = -3x+18+12

• ADD 18 and 12

y = -3x+30

slope intercept form : y=-3x+30

(b)

i don’t understand . im sorry .

hope this helped :)
