23x40= 920

55% of 920=506
So we know she needs to make over double of 506 to make 920$ commission, so

1675x0.55=921.25 $ in commission. So she would have to sell 1675$ to make roughly the same

I hope that’s right.

Look at the scatter plot. Which of these equations is the best representation of the trend line?
dusya [7]
B.
y =  \frac{1}{4} x - 2

because of how the slope (Y over X) is 1/4 and the intercept is (0, 2).

The slope is positive because the line moves to the right.

(for me I remember that /it hurts \doesn't. The line is you moving your arm.)

In triangle △ABC, ∠ABC=90°, BH is an altitude. Find the missing lengths.
shtirl [24]

Answer:

HC=\sqrt{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Let HC=x, it is given that AH=3HC, then AH=3x.

Since, from the given figure, ΔABC is similar to ΔBHC and ΔABC is similar to ΔABH.

Therefore, ΔABH is similar to ΔBHC, hence using the similarity conditions,

\frac{HC}{BH}=\frac{BH}{AH}

\frac{x}{3}=\frac{3}{3x}

3x^{2}=9

x^{2}=3

x=\sqrt{3}

Hence, HC=\sqrt{3}.

Circle 1 has center (−4, 5) and a radius of 6 cm. Circle 2 has (2, −3) and a radius 9 cm.
zheka24 [161]
First translate the circle from (-4,5) to (2,-3) [ a translation of (+6, -8) ] by the transformation rule
(x,y)->(x+6, y-8)
the scale factor would be the ratio of the radii of image (circle 2) divided by that of preimage (circle 1)
