The answer to your question is below

Step-by-step explanation:

Process

-Calculate the area of the 6 faces and compare the result with the choices.

1.- Area of Face A

Area = 14 x 8 = 112 m²                                       True

2.- Area of face B

Area = 6 x 14 = 84 m²                                        False

3.- Area of face C

Area = 10 x 14 = 140 m²                                      True

4.- Area of face D

Area = 6 x 8/2 = 24 m²                                       True

5.- Area of face E

Area = 6 x 8/2 = 24 m²

The last choice                                                  False

Answer:

Area of trapezium = 16.5 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

a = 5 cm

b = 6 cm

h = 3 cm

To Find:

Area of trapezium = ?

Solution:

Area of trapezium = h(a + b)/2

Area of trapezium = 3(5 + 6)/2

Area of trapezium = 3 x 11/2

Area of trapezium = 33/2

Therefore, Area of trapezium = 16.5 cm^2

P varies directly with the square of R. When R is 4, P is 56. Find the value of P when R is 6
Sav [38]
Hey!
The formula of direct variation is y = kx. So we know that p = kr^2
Hint: after it says varies, it's basically the equal sign.
so we can set it up
56 = 4^2k
56=16k
now we want k alone so we have to divide 16 on both sides
k=3.5
We can now solve for p like it asks
p = 3.5*6^2
p=126
There's your answer!
Hope this helps!
