The first and foremost important issue related to global warming is the melting of polar ice. This is important because of the albedo effect, the capability of the ice to reflect and deviate part of the sunray, that without the ice are absorbed, even more, causing more heat. This is also important because we do not know yet the effect of the polar ice melting on ocean currents and weather patterns.

2. Acidification of oceans
Another issue related to global warming is the acidification of oceans: this is a phenomenon that occurs when the balance of substance in the ocean is disrupted, causing more acid ions to run free, making oceans more acid. This is a problem because many of the basic life forms that live in the oceans are very sensible to Ph changes.

3. Extreme weather events
With global warming, the usual patterns of weather are disrupted, and they are replaced with patterns that are less known and so forecasts are not as good as they are now. Moreover, extreme events like tornado and hurricanes are probably as a result of more heat in the atmosphere.

Those three issues because they are the ones that provoke the most consequences and they also have serious consequences on humans as well, as everything we do to the environment will also come back to us, one way or another.
