Answer:

A category of transnational, local or national grouping enterprises having high centralization and run illegally by the criminals for profit is known as organized crime. Some of these organizations are also politically motivated. People are also forced to business with these organizations. There are two types of strategies for dealing with organized crime. The first strategy targets the member of organized crime groups and the second focuses on the structure of organized crime and its relationship with the market. Some experts argue that focusing on the environment within which organized crime businesses operate will be more successful in curbing it. They support the legalization of goods and services which are the basis of organized crime and are in support of legalizing gambling and other such activities. Other experts support of following the money strategy, as there are huge sums involved in organized crime businesses they argue to make laws which will take the offenders money by freezing and seizing the assets derived from organized crime.

Why have many Haitians left the countryside for the cities?
lisabon 2012 [21]

Answer:

Many farmers decide to migrate from the countryside to cities in order to obtain better job opportunities. As the years have progressed, less farmers are needed to work on farms due to the advances in technology and industrialization. A job that once took 500 famers to do may now only take 50. Due to this major cut in workforce, many famers are left jobless and in debt. Cities are bigger and offer more room to grow and work, therefore, many farmers chose to move and find an alternative way to feed their families and create a better lifestyle for themselves.

What do you think is the most important technological advancement of the Indus people and why?
KonstantinChe [14]

I'd love to say the button, which they did discover, because I like it when my pants stay on. But, the Indus people are largely credited with the invention of the ruler/measuring rod. Standardizing length allows for even building, cutting, and the like. It allows for measured clothing. It allows, at base, a common understanding of how big something is and should be.

dem82 [27]

Answer: E. double-barreled

Explanation:

DOUBLE - BARRELED

A double-barreled question also known as a compound question, is a question that comprises 2 or more issues but expects only 1 answer like the question in the example.

In research, these kind of questions are usually included in error as researchers attempt to formulate synonyms or clarify question and even though done with nobel intentions, it can render data useless because there will be no way or knowing the participant's real state of mind.
