So we know that 20% off means that it has 80%, and I just need to take $3.5×80÷100=$2.8 for the new price. Additionally, another 10% off which means that 2.8×90÷100=$2.52 for the final price. Hope it help!

3.50 - 0.70= 2.80
2.80 x 0.10= 0.28
2.80 - 0.28= 2.52
