Х years  -  Pima
(x + 12) years  -  Jerry
76 - the sum of their ages
? years - Pima and Jerry

1) x + (x + 12) = 76
    2x + 12 = 76
    2x = 76 - 12
    2x = 64
    x = 64 : 2
    x = 32 years - Pima
2) 32 + 12 = 44 years - Jerry.

6 cm
4 cm
2 cm
3 cm
What is the area of the polygon?
Sonbull [250]

Answer:

36 cm^2 is the area

Explanation -->

- first, separate the polygon into two separate ones, horizontally, to make two rectangles

- NOTE : Area = length x width

- 6 times 4 = 24

- 4 times 3 = 12  (self-explanatory, you get 4 by subtracting 6 and 2, as you can see)

- 24 + 12 = 36

-- You get 36 cm^2 --
