Answer:

The thyroid stimulating immunoglobulin in Graves disease is an antibody to the membrane receptors of thyroid cells that bind TSH.

Explanation:

Graves disease is an auto-immune disease in which antibodies produced by one's own body attacks the thyroid gland.

When pituitary gland is stimulated by TRH i.e. thyrotropin releasing hormone from hypothalamus, it releases TSH i.e thyroid stimulating hormone. TSH then goes and binds to the receptors on thyroid cells and stimulate the release of T3 and T4 thyroid hormones. In case of graves disease the antibody binds at the same site as TSH thereby continuously giving signal for the release of T3 and T4 thyroid hormones. This results in hyperthyroidism.

TiliK225 [7]

The greenhouse effect is the trapping of a stars warmth in the lower atmosphere of a planet by gasses in the air trapping the energy. This is similar to what actual greenhouses do, where they trap the warmth and humidity of the air inside it so plants can flourish. Farm animals produce a huge amount of the greenhouse gasses required for our planet to trap the suns warmth.

insens350 [35]

Answer:

The weather and time do affect crime. The time of day, like late at night, is when most crimes occur. Since it's dark out, the criminal won't be seen as easily compared to during the day. Crime also spikes during warm weather since it seems to be easier for the criminal.
