Why was centralization difficult for South Asia?

Geography

South Asia is a really difficult place to try and centralize the countries. A big problem are the large populations in the countries, with the likes of India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh all being in one of the most populated countries in the world, so centralizing them would mean that hundreds of millions of people will either live on the verge of existence (even worse than it is now), or will be moving towards the city where the centralization will be taking place, and there's no such place that can function properly if that amount of people flood in it. Another problem is that there's multiple cities that are very big, with millions of people living in them, and if centralization takes place, they will start to decline in every aspect, and that will cause huge problems of all sorts on national level.

Answer:

Centralization was difficult in South Asia because there were numerous mighty rulers in the region that tried to dominate and overpower each other.

Explanation:

 • The South Asian region has historically been a hotspot of wars and political happening.
 • Except for a few years on the historical timeline of South Asia, the region never experienced a prolonged rule of a single dynasty.
 • Numerous kings fought among themselves to protect their lands and to acquire the other's lands.
 • This never allowed the region to have a centralized administration.

Based on what you know of the current government, and political parties, do you feel that George Washington was correct in warni
Bess [88]

Answer:

Explanation:

His warning wasn't strong enough although he understood corruption very well.

What he was basically saying is that if the American Colonies did not rule themselves well and honestly they would go down the drain just as Athens did.

Democracy and Freedom are not words on a piece of paper. They must be lived well and attended to every day by all citizens. It is not disagreement that destroys a democracy. It is not listening carefully when someone with an opposing opinion voices it.

There has not been so much hatred in the United States since the Civil War.

What is the main type of tectonic plate boundary that exists along the edge of the north american plate near the coast of northe
Kitty [74]

Answer:

To the east, the North American plate shares the Mid-Atlantic Ridge with the Eurasian plate. This divergent margin, offset throughout by transform faults, began spreading approximately 180 Ma ago, opening the North Atlantic Ocean. Evidence of Mesozoic juvenile crust formation in New England can be correlated with the event.

Explanation:

The San Andreas transform boundary between the Pacific and North American plate originates from the shallow, oblique subduction by the North American plate of the Monterey microplate

The Monterey-Pacific ridge stopped spreading and Monterey accreted to the Pacific plate. As a result, the Pacific plate’s motion with respect to the North American rotated, transforming a network of shallow faults into dextral transform faults
