What is the only type of heat transfer that can travel through space

Biology

Answer:

Radiation

Explanation:

Heat is a form of energy that can be transfered from one medium to another through three main different ways:

1: Conduction

2: Convection

3: Radiation

If we talk about the transfer of heat energy in space then it can happen only during radiation mechanism. This is because transfer through conduction requires direct contact with the source of heat, for example a heat pipe or a cylinder linked to a pipe. Moreover, in Convection mechanism there is a need of moving fluid or medium such as water or air. If we talk about radiation, they don't need a source in close proximity or a medium and there are photons which carry heat from one place to another in an empty space or vacuum.

Hope it helps!

Acute transfusion reactions usually have symptoms within 24 hours of having the blood transfusion. When there is a transfusion reaction, the transfusion should be stopped right away and a normal saline solution be given as an Intravenous fluid. Corticosteroid or Diphenhydramine medications may help taper the symptoms.

What products of glycolysis are required for yeast to produce ethanol by fermentation?
vlabodo [156]

Answer:

NADH, pyruvate.

Explanation:

The fermentation process occurs in the cytoplasmic matrix.

Thanks to the H+ that are recovered from the oxidation of NADH to NAD +, they bind to pyruvic acid to change its conformation and transform it into lactic acid.

Two types of fermentation occur:

- Lactic

- Alcoholic, which releases ethanol + CO2

This is the reaction:

C6H12O6 + 2 Pi + 2 ADP + 2 NAD → 2 CH3-CH2OH + 2 CO2 + 2 ATP + 2 NAD
