The correct answer is C; They worked to keep black people and white people apart in many situations.

Further Explanation:

The Jim Crow laws were passed after slavery was abolished and after the Civil War ended. The laws were only passed in the Southern states and they did this so that they could be superior to the black men and women.

Even though slavery was over, with these laws being passed, black people were once again being segregated in the South. They had to ride separate buses, use separate water fountains, attend black only schools, and use black only bathrooms in public. The men in charge did their best to enforce the Jim Crow laws.

Are those who cannot remember the past more likely to repeat it? right it in your own words in 2 paragraph I WILL MARK YOU AS BR
grigory [225]

Answer:

Learning history is necessary in order not to repeat the mistakes from the past.

Explanation:

Those who don’t learn history are more likely to repeat it. This attitude makes sense and it’s rarely arguable. People who don’t remember the historical facts can easily repeat them. It’s normal because society is very consistent. No matter how far humanity has come, not so many things changed.

This phrase derives from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century and the founder of it was George Santayana, a Spanish-born American author, philosopher, essayist, poet, and novelist.

Santayana had a big influence on many philosophical thoughts. His quote that those who cannot remember the past more likely to repeat it is still very well known in the society.

The irony of this quote is that since the 20th century until now there is nothing new. Nothing new can happen without it to be connected to the past, progress depends on retentiveness.

“<em>Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it</em>” means that we have an obligation to save our past in order to keep the present. If we choose selectively what will we remember, it won’t be adequate heritage to future generations.

Not everything can be found on the internet, this technology field is still young. The one who keeps all the information is history.

We are sending blankets and winter clothes to the earthquake victims we know, Katherine and her (obj.).

Pronouns are words used to refer to things or people. They are have three different forms depending on how they are used in a sentence.

The three forms of pronouns are objective, nominative, and possessive.

Objective pronoun is used in a sentence when its function in a sentence is that of a subject or predicate. Few objective pronouns are I, you, he, she, it (singular) and you, they, we (plural).

Nominative pronoun is used in a sentence when the pronoun functions as a direct or indirect object, or also, the object of preposition. Some nominative pronouns are you, her, him, me, it (singular) and you, us, them (plural).

Lastly, a possessive pronoun is used as a way to portray ownership or possession such as mine, your, my, her, his (singular) and our, your, their (plural).

We are sending blankets and winter clothes to the earthquake victims we know, Katherine and her is the correct sentence.

In the above sentence, "her" is an objective pronoun because it serves the function of a direct object.
