When using distributive property for this it’s gonna be 5(5.75+4.25)
So 5•5.75=28.75
5•4.25=21.25
So then 28.75+21.25=50

Suppose that you are asked to conduct a study to determine whether smaller class
weeeeeb [17]

Answer:

a. correlation

b. inverse linear correlation exists If the higher the population of students lead to a decrease in test score,

c. yes

Step-by-step explanation:

a. Correlation is a measure of the amount of association existing between two variables.

b. For linear correlation, if points are plotted on a graph and all the points lie on a straight line, then perfect linear correlation is said to exist. When a straight line having a positive gradient can reasonably be drawn through points on a graph positive or direct linear correlation exists,

Similarly,when a straight line having a negative gradient can reasonably be drawn through points on a graph, negative or inverse linear correlation exists,

The results of this determination give values of r lying between +1 and −1, where +1 indicates perfect direct Positive linear correlation and −1 indicates perfect inverse correlation or Negative linear correlation and 0 indicates that no correlation exists.

If the higher the population of students lead to a decrease in test score, there will definitely be a negative correlation between class size and test score. i.e low class size result in high test score which consequently lead to high performance.

c. YES

A negative correlation means low class size result in high test score which consequently lead to better performance.

How tall is the flag pole (please give explanation too)
Tpy6a [65]

Answer:

 22 3/4 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

The diagram seems to show a 6 1/2 ft person casting a 9 ft shadow at the same time a flagpole is casting a 31 1/2 ft shadow. You want the height of the flagpole.

Proportion

Shadow lengths are presumed proportional to the height of the object making them. This means ...

 h/(31 1/2) = (6 1/2)/9 . . . . . all lengths in feet

Multiplying by 31 1/2, we get ...

 h = (31 1/2)(6 1/2)/9 = (819/4)/9 = 91/4

 h = 22 3/4 . . . . ft

The flagpole is 22 3/4 feet tall.

Trapezoid WKRP was translated 4 units to the left and 5 units up on a coordinate grid to create trapezoid W’K’R’P’. Which rule d
saw5 [17]

The rule used to describe this transformation is (x, y)→(x - 4, y + 5)

Transformation

Transformation is the movement of a point from its initial location to a new location. Types of transformation are rotation, reflection, translation and dilation.

If a point A(x, y) is translated a units left and b units up. the new point is at A'(x - a, y + b)

Given Trapezoid WKRP was translated 4 units to the left and 5 units up on a coordinate grid to create trapezoid W’K’R’P’. The rule is given by:

(x, y)→(x - 4, y + 5)

The rule used to describe this transformation is (x, y)→(x - 4, y + 5)

The actual proportion of voters who plan to vote for a particular proposition in the next election is 70%, but LaShandra does no
Setler [38]

Answer:

0.0417

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the following;

p = 0.7, n=121

The sampling distribution of sample proportion will be approximately normal with mean

\mu_{\hat{p}}=p=0.7

and standard deviation

\sigma_{\hat{p}}=\sqrt{\frac{p(1-p)}{n}}=\sqrt{\frac{0.7\cdot 0.2}{121}}=0.0417
