At the end of 2012 , which was not a major us concern in the middle east
Andrej [43]

The correct answer is D) ending the civil war in Syria.

At the end of 2012, the event that was not a major U.S. concern was the ending of the civil war in Syria.

The United States government was more concern with other political and financial issues of the Middle East such as preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons and to reach an agreement with the government of Iran. Another foreign issue in the Middle East that was an important concern for the U.S. was the situation in Irak and the political stability in that place. Other major concern was the dispute of Palestine and Israel in the occupied territories. But the issue that was not a U.S. concern at the end of 2012, was the ending of the civil war in Syria.
