Let's solve for b.

A=1/2bh

Step 1: Flip the equation.

\frac{1}{2} bh=A

Step 2: Divide both sides by h/2.

\frac{\frac{1}{2} bh}{\frac{h}{2}}=\frac{a}{\frac{h}{2} }

So, the answer for this problem is b=2A/h

A = 1/2 bh can be written as

A = bh/2.

2A = (bh/2)(2)

2A = bh

Divide both sides by h to find b.

2A/h = b

It is best to draw the situation given above to understand the problem better. You will see that there are two right triangles that can be made. One would have the angle 67 degrees and the other with angle 35 degrees. We calculation as follows:

From the triangles, we can set up two equations with two unknowns:
tan 67 = h/x
tan 35 = h/(20+x)

h = 19.93 ft

What is the probability of picking two cards from a deck that are the same suit?
kkurt [141]

The total probability is the product of two probabilities: the probability to draw diamond from original deck, which is 13/52 times the probability to draw a diamond from the remaining 51 cards, provided the first card drawing is diamond, which is 12/51. So, p=13/52*12/51=1/4*4/17=1/17; Answer to a

if someone could please explain to me how to get the right answer on these i would really appreciate it
Law Incorporation [45]
You’re finding the least common denominator do you have to find what number the denominators can go into evenly. For example number one: 4 and 6 go into 12

1/4, multiply both top and bottom by 3.
That will give you 3/12

Now te same for 5/6. Now multiply both top and bottom by 2 and the equals 10/12

Final answer 3/12, 10/12.
If you need more help just comment! :)
