that women had in the United States in the 1930s. Many married women was forced
into working when their husbands lost their jobs or where their husbands’ wages
are too low to support the needs of the family during the Great Depression.
I believe that, yes, our self-confidence does influence the decisions we make. This is what I believe stems from factors like our successes. I remember being a young child who never performed exceptionally well in class and lacked the motivation to complete any of my assignments. As I grew older, I understood the value completing my assignments had on how I will go on throughout my school year. Once I started doing well in class due to my outlook on school, so did my motivation ,my confidence in how well I’ll do in school. Because of that, I managed to set aside all distractions which would hinder me from my personal success (the decision). I have a friend who never really thought that he appealed to the opposite because he’s been very insecure about his looks, but when my friends and I complemented his looks, he gained the strength to be confident in his looks.
