In first  place you Know that Sheila's salary is  $ 1100 and $30 for every sale, as she want to earn  $2630  this month you must substrac 1100  of  2630

then $ 2630-1100 =  $1530 now you establish a proportion of quantities

1 sale_____ $30

x sale____ $1530

X = 1*$1530/$30 =  51, SHE NEED TO MAKE 51 SALES TO OBTAIN $ 2630

first u multiply 30 by all those numbers

30 x 37= 1110

30 x 88= 2640

So in conclusion she needs to make 88 sales to reach her goal.

How do i solve this problem?
Pani-rosa [81]
Area of a triangle = 1/2 x base x height

using the given information: area = 40 and base = 20

you now have 40 = 1/2 x 20 x height

divide both sides by 1/2

80 = 20 x height

divide both sides by 20

height = 80 / 20

height = 4 in.

the area of a rectangle is 54x^9y^8 square yards if the length of the rectangle is 6x^3y^4 yards what expression represents the
Vinvika [58]
The area of a rectangle is given by:
 A = (w) * (l)
 Where,
 w: width
 l: long
 Substituting values we have:
 (54x ^ 9y ^ 8) = (w) * (6x ^ 3y ^ 4)
 Clearing w we have:
 w = (54x ^ 9y ^ 8) / (6x ^ 3y ^ 4)
 Rewriting:
 w = (9 * x ^ 6y ^ 4)
 Answer:

the length of the rectangle is:

w = (9 * x ^ 6y ^ 4)
