Answer:

In photosynthesis LIGHT ENERGY drives electrons from a low energy state in water to a high energy state.

Explanation:

<em>Photosynthesis is the process used by plants, algae and cyanobacteria to utilize energy from sunlight and turn into chemical energy. </em>

<em>There are two types of this process: oxygenic photosynthesis and anoxygenic  photosynthesis. The general principles of both of them is very similar, however oxygenic is the most regular to see in plants, algae and cyanobacteria.</em>

<em>The oxygenic photosynthesis begins when the light energy transfers electrons from water  to carbon dioxide, so that carbohydrates can be produced.  During this transfer, CO₂ is reduced  or receive electrons and the water becomes oxidized, meaning, it loses electrons. The oxigen is produced along with carbohydrates.</em>

Describe the interactions between transcription factors and promoter sites that lead to the initiation of transcription. Predict
LekaFEV [45]

Answer:

A genetic sequence, the TATA box, is a transcriptions start site and initiates transcription through the formation of RNA polymerase. Negative regulation may inhibit the initiation of transcription and/or repress gene expression.

Explanation:

proteins called transcription factors bind to the TATA box, this triggers RNA polymerase to start synthesizing RNA to DNA

Petrolyn motor oil is a combination of natural oil and synthetic oil. It contains 5 liters of natural oil for every 3 liters of
ELEN [110]

Answer:

Total 495 liters of natural oil are needed.

Explanation:

It is given that Petrolyn motor oil is a combination of natural oil and synthetic oil. It contains 5 liters of natural oil for every 3 liters of synthetic oil.

It means the ratio of natural oil and synthetic oil is

\frac{\text{Natural oil}}{\text{Petrolyn motor oil}}=\frac{5}{5+3}=\frac{5}{8}

Let in order to make 792 liters of Petrolyn oil he needs x liters of natural oil.

It means the ratio of natural oil and synthetic oil is

\frac{\text{Natural oil}}{\text{Petrolyn motor oil}}=\frac{x}{792}

Equate both ratios,

\frac{x}{792}=\frac{5}{8}

On cross multiplication we get

8\times x=5\times 792

8x=3960

Divide both sides by 8.

x=\frac{3960}{8}

x=495

Therefore total 495 liters of natural oil are needed.
