Answer:

An inequality to model the situation is :   ( 10 m +  3 n)  ≥  150

Here, m : The number of jeans sold

          n : The number of shirts sold.

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, the profit on each sale of jeans = $ 10

The profit on each sale of shirt = $ 3

The profit needed to be made = AT LEAST $150

Now, here: Let us assume the number of jeans sold  = m

And, The number of shorts sold  =n

So, the profit on m jeans = m  x ( Profit on 1 jeans) = m x ( $ 10)  = 10 m

So, the profit on n shirts = n  x ( Profit on 1 shirt) = n x ( $ 3)  = 3 n

⇒ The total profit on m jeans + n shirts  = ( 10 m +  3 n)

But, according to the question, the profit should AT LEAST $150.

⇒ TOTAL PROFIT  ≥ $ 150

⇒  ( 10 m +  3 n)  ≥  150

Hence, an inequality to model the situation is :   ( 10 m +  3 n)  ≥  150

Genrish500 [490]
The answer I believe is 10 calories per minute because 20 x30 =600 I did that because she burned 20 calories per minute so with that being said there’s 60 minutes is the maximum minutes any time can go to so you do 600 divided by 60 which equals 10 which means she burns 10 calories per minute hope this is right

The coordinates of the endpoints of the diameter of a circle are (-1,5) and (3, -1). The center of the circle has coordinates
Setler79 [48]

Answer:

ans=(-2,2)

Step-by-step explanation:

let the end point of circle diameter (-1,5) and (3,-1) be (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) respectively

using mid point formula

(x,y)=(-1,5)/2+(-3,-1)/2  [center point is equal to mid point of  diameter)

       =  (-1+(-3))/2+(5-1)/2

       =(-2,2)

center coordinate of circle=(-2,2)

It is possible to score higher than 1600 on the combined mathematics and reading portions of the SAT, but scores 1600 and above
Citrus2011 [14]

Answer:

The proportion of scores reported as 1600 is 0.0032

Step-by-step explanation:

Let X be the score for 1 random person in SAT combining maths and reading. X has distribution approximately N(μ = 1011,σ = 216).

In order to make computations, we standarize X to obtain a random variable W with distribution approximately N(0,1)

W = \frac{X-\mu}{\sigma} = \frac{X-1011}{216} \simeq N(0,1)

The values of the cummulative distribution function of the standard Normal random variable, lets denote it \phi are tabulated, you can find those values in the attached file. Now, we are ready to compute the probability of X being bigger than 1600

P(1600< X) = P(\frac{1600-1011}{216} < \frac{X-1011}{216}) = P(2.7269 < W) = 1- \phi(2.7269)\\= 1- 0.9968 = 0.0032

Hence, the proportion of scores reported as 1600 is 0.0032.
