Bantu speakers are an early African group of people who were originally settled in the savanna south of the Sahara, which is now southeastern Nigeria. about 2000 years ago smal groups of this gigantic mass of people starting moving south and east due to their farming techniques. Since they were influenced by their farming and iron working lifestyles their path across Africa had the purpose of finding places which could support them and their basic needs. As they moved, they encountered geographic features such as the Kalahari and Namib deserts, amongst other rough, desert like areas.

Both speeches focus on the history of fighting for a cause leading up to the Civil War. The US was built on revolutionary spirit and men's lives lost for the bigger idea of freedom. The deaths of the men will mean something because the cause of the war means something.

These addresses revitalized the Union effort and reminded the men of the long history they were now a part of. They stand on the side of freedom and that will be meaningful. This dedicate brought up morale in Union forces.

The US government took several actions to stop the spread of communism including:

A) Giving financial aid to countries in hopes that they would not be taken over by the Soviet Union. In the Truman Doctrine and Marshall Plan, the US gives aid to several different European countries after World War II. Between the two laws, the US gave over $13 billion to these countries to ensure their economic stability.

B) The US government was willing to get involved in several different wars- The US government supported South Korea and South Vietnam in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. The reasoning behind this was they wanted to stop South Korea and Vietnam from falling under the control of the communist governments of North Korean and Vietnam.
