Answer:

Option B: Control of commerce.

Explanation:

Before the Constitutional Convention and the creation of the Constitution of the United States, the recently independent states were having issues controlling and regulating national and international commerce.

Some states would compete with others to gain economic advantage, and the Confederation lacked to power to enforce regulatory laws to control and set rates, or coordinate retaliatory trade policies with foreign countries.

This was a major problem at the time that was getting out of hand. Although the purpose of the constitutional convention was to revise the laws of the current governments, the people who proposed it had something else in mind; a complete remake of the government system, the creation of a Federal Court, and with it, the power to enforce laws through all the states.

During the convention, George Washington was elected president of the convention.

How do households dissave? where do they get the money to finance their extra consumption? can everyone dissave at the same time
Talja [164]
Households dissave when en their consumption exceeds their incomes. The extra money comes from two sources: credit and past incomes, also known as savings. When a house dissaves it can either borrow money from financial institutions or spend money that was previously saved. Everyone cannot dissave at the same time because banks would not have enough money to fund everybody's excessive consumption.

Write two to three paragraphs summarizing the effects of Reconstruction in Georgia. Describe key changes that resulted, both suc
yawa3891 [41]

Answer:

Maybe some of you have been to Atlanta, Georgia. It is a large capital city with the busiest airport in the world. Two interstates, 75 and 85, cut through the heart of the city, revealing an impressive skyline of buildings. Atlanta is home to Coca-Cola and the 1996 Summer Olympics. The city has a rich historical and cultural legacy. Did you know Atlanta was burned down toward the end of the Civil War? Georgia as a whole was devastated by the ''War Between the States.''

During the war, Union General William T. Sherman boasted that he would ''make Georgia howl,'' and he did. He ordered the business district of Atlanta be burned to the ground. It is believed 40% of the city was destroyed. Toward the end of 1864, Sherman became famous for his ''March to the Sea,'' in which he and his men cut a 50-mile-wide path of destruction throughout the state of Georgia. The path stretched from Atlanta to the port city of Savannah. Railroad lines were torn up, and farms and businesses set on fire, as Union troops adopted a scorched earth policy.

Before the Civil War, the capital of Georgia was Milledgeville. Upon readmittance to the Union, the capital was changed to Atlanta. Atlanta was founded in the 1830s as a railroad hub. Despite being burned down by Union forces in 1864, Atlanta was rebuilt and grew during Reconstruction. By 1880 it was Georgia's largest city. With freed people leaving agricultural jobs and moving to the city, Atlanta quickly became a modern industrial city. In the 1880s electric street cars began operating in the city. In 1886 a former Confederate soldier named John Pemberton developed a soft drink called Coca-Cola. The company thrived, bringing jobs and money to Atlanta.

Alex787 [66]

Answer:

The answer is social clock.

Explanation:

This phenomenon explains the expectancy of society to achieve certain things at a determined time (for example, graduating from high school at age eighteen or getting married in your twenties). However, these expectations are variable in different parts of the world.

Bernice Neugarten proposed the idea in order to explain the aging process. She stated that events in people's lives occur in a predictable manner.
