On average, 1.3 million drivers have been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs each year. Mostly these road accidents are caused by motor vehicle drivers that are most of the time under the influence of both alcohol and drugs. Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) is used by officers to determine the amount of intoxication a person has when being pulled over on the side of the road.  </span>
