I feel that he is correct when he says this, what Jonas is saying is that if everything in the world is the same, then how are we to make any choices? Jonas is right when he makes this remark because if we have nothing different to chose from than we cant make any choices. An example is if you want to pick the color blue or red, you wouldn't be able to in his world, because everything in the same.
