The process of cellular differentiation is regulated by transcription factors and growth factors, and results in expression or inhibition of various genes between the cell types, thereby resulting in varying proteomes between cell types.

Hi there, I come in behalf of jcherry99,

So, first question -

This shouldn't be that much of an issue, since we have the text to help us out, but I'll try breaking it up into more simpler words:

The placenta is incide the uterus, where the baby starts forming. As you might already know, babies do not eat while they're inside woman's bellies:

So how do they feed?

They feed throught the umbilical cord.

So why is the placenta there? Why would the baby want anything apart from food?

The placenta, instead of trading food with the baby, regulates temperature, supplies it with nutrients, exchanges gas with the mother (which the mother later exchanges with the environment) and gets rid of waste.

And, food is not everything for a baby that is in the urge of developing complex muscles, bones, etc.

Second "question" -

I do not actually know what I'm supposed to do, since there is no question. But I can tell you this - the information contained in part B is correct:

The amnioic sac provides babies with a liquid which allows him to move freely in the uterus, which is very helpful. But, note that he doesn't start moving randomly, he is always in a fetus or similar-to-fetus position.

Hope it helped,

You are looking at tissue under a microscope. One cell shows half the amount of DNA of some of the other cells. This cell is most likely to be in the G1 phase where the cell has just divided.
Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.

In the disease myasthenia gravis, the human body makes-by mistake- antibodies to its own acetylcholine receptor molecules. These
andre [41]

Answer:

Muscle contraction function.

Explanation:

The nerve endings possess synaptic acetylcholine vesicles ready to be released. The action potential depolarizes the presynaptic terminal and increases the concentration of axoplasmic calcium; Acetylcholine molecules are thus released, so that the concentration of the neurotransmitter at postsynaptic (nicotinic) receptors is temporarily increased. This is followed by post-synaptic membrane depolarization, muscle membrane action potential with increased rnioplasmic calcium concentration, and finally muscle contraction. Acetylcholine is hydrolyzed by acetylcholinesterase and resynaptic at the presynaptic level by cholinecetyltransferase. The etiopathogenesis of myasthenia gravis is autoimmune and there are antibodies against acetylcholine receptors that circulate in the blood, as well as a decrease in the number of receptors on the motor plates, that is, it is produced by the postsynaptic blockage of the myoneural plaque, that generates fatigue and localized or generalized muscle weakness that is characterized by the worsening of the contractile force of the muscle.
