The four men representing the federalist in the ratification battle are Madison, Hamilton, John Jay and Washington. At the opposite end of the spectrum, so men who did represent the anti-federalist were Richard Henry Lee and Thomas Jefferson. The central argument in this battle was the ratification of the federalism of the new-born United State of America.
