Which of the following statements about Sharia law in the Middle East is false?
sertanlavr [38]
The answer to the first question is letter C. The statement 'Sharia law is a set of civil laws created without the influence of religion' is incorrect. This is because the law is directly influenced by the teachings of Islam.

The answer to the second question is letter B. The increased occurrence of polygamy (having many wives) are not supported by Progressive Muslims because it is an insult to the first wife or any other next wife.

PLEASE ANSWER QUICK Hello easy question
Alex17521 [72]

The Second Great Awakening was a Protestant religious revival during the early 19th century in the United States. The Second Great Awakening, which spread religion through revivals and emotional preaching, sparked a number of reform movements. Revivals were a key part of the movement and attracted hundreds of converts to new Protestant denominations. The Methodist Church used circuit riders to reach people in frontier locations. The Second Great Awakening led to a period of antebellum social reform and an emphasis on salvation by institutions. The outpouring of religious fervor and revival began in Kentucky and Tennessee in the 1790s and early 1800s among the Presbyterians, Methodists and Baptists. The awakening brought comfort in the face of uncertainty as a result of the socio-political changes in America.

Hope this helps, also, thanks for separating the question from the message :D

Determine the changekf−ki in the kinetic energy of the block as it moves from xi = -6.00cm to xf = 4.00cm .
Aleksandr-060686 [28]
You can determine the change of kinetic energy by calculating the work done on the system. That would be force multiplied with distance. However, you only have the distance for the given. Anyway, I've found a similar problem. So, I hope I could still help you in understanding it, even just the concept.

So, in the similar problem that I found, two opposite forces are acting on a block along the frictionless surface. F1 = +80 N and F2 = -30 N.

We get the net force. Then, we find the work which is just kinetic energy in form.

W = KE = F*d
KE = (80 - 30)*(4 - -6)
KE = 500 J

So, if you have the actual values and direction of forces, the same concept applies. I hope I was able to help.
