1 3/4 is equal to 7/4 because 4×1 is 4 and 4+3 is 7. (denominator × whole number then that product + numerator. put that over the current denominator to get your improper fraction) then multiply that by the other fraction to get your answer. it is 21/8

An ice cream store sells 27 flavors of ice cream. Determine the number of 6 dip sundaes.
xz_007 [3.2K]

Answer:

 \large\boxed{\large\boxed{2.428678219969\times 10^{15}}}

Explanation:

It is said that the <em>order is not considered</em>, meaning that the order does not matter. For instance, ABCDEF is equal to any combination of those same letters.

Thus, this problem deals with combinations, whose formula is:

          C(m,n)=\dfrac{m!}{n!\cdot (m-n)!}

For <em>27 flavors of ice cream</em> and <em>6 dip sundaes</em>, m = 27 and n = 6:

        C(27,6)=\dfrac{27!}{6!\cdot (27-6)!}=\dfrac{27!}{6!\cdot 13!}=2.428678219969\times 10^{15}

1. Complete the comparison: 3+ 7 &gt; ?<br> A. 10-2<br> B.9 + 4<br> C. 7+3<br> D. 8 + 2
iVinArrow [24]

Answer:

<u>The correct answer is A. 10 - 2</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Let's make all the comparisons for the four alternatives:

A.  3 + 7 > 10 - 2 ⇒ 10 > 8, the comparison is correct because 10 is bigger than 8.

B.  3 + 7 > 9 + 4 ⇒ 10 > 13, the comparison is not correct because 10 is less than 13.

C.  3 + 7 > 7 + 3 ⇒ 10 > 10, the comparison is not correct because 10 is equal to 10.

D.  3 + 7 > 8 + 2 ⇒ 10 > 10, the comparison is not correct because 10 is equal to 10.

<u>The only correct comparison is A. 10 - 2.</u>
