Hard Bop
Explanation:
Hard Bop was birthed as an opposition to cool jazz of 1950s and was played mostly by urban musicians (from Philadelphia and Detroit) reflecting an East Coast, extroverted response to urban life.

The way female artists are treated today is what I believe is of their best interest, but of course progression should never stop. Back then the arts was a field of interest that was specifically for men because women were expected to pursue household duties only. However over time as boundaries were lifted they were allowed to explore artistic pursuites. In today's time there are a large amount of female artists and the arts is often now considered to be a "girly" field of study. That means it's somewhat expected of a female to have an interest in art than in something such as science. This definitely is in the best interest of female artists but not in the best interest of females as a whole. Today it's also much easier for female artists to have exposure because of social media platforms and communities that are designated to art.

I like the piece, "Somebody To Love" by Queen because everybody gets lonely from time to time. This piece truly speaks to the lonelyness of life. "I get down on my knees and I start to pray 'til the tears run down from my eyes" this shows how every day he prays that the Lord will find him a partner to spend his life with, through the happy moments, the sad ones, the rough ones. All of it.
