Answer: Competition to develop strong economies and build large empires.

During the 19th century, England was the main imperialist power in the world and the strongest economy. However, by the beginning of the 20th century, several other nations had become wealthier and more influential in the international arena. France, Prussia (Germany), the United States and Japan were all modernizing quickly. This led to increased competition for colonies, and the resources these provided. One of the most famous examples was the Scramble for Africa. All this competition contributed to rising tensions in the years leading up to World War I.

The correct answer is - Competition to develop strong economies and build large empires.

There were lots of tensions in Europe about the shares that each colonial country had on the other continents were the natural resources were abundant. While some considered that they had won this territories fair and square, others were on the opinion that they should get some of the colonies under their control. The background of this was of course the economy, and the competition between the nations to be wealthier, military stronger, and enlarge their territories. Unfortunately, these tensions led to a World War.

mars1129 [50]
According to a number of historians, the Soviet Union attempted to obscure the Jewish aspect of the concentration camps, at least in Soviet media accounts in the wake of the liberation of concentration camps in 1944 and 1945. In the Russian press, the Germans were depicted as simple beasts, but their focus on killing Jews in the concentration camps was down played in the media if not actually outright hidden.

The "Don't ask, don't tell" policy initiated by President Clinton involved the .
Rudiy27

Answer:

LGTB American population.

Explanation:

The Clinton policy allowed lesbian, gay and bisexual people to serve in the military without having to reveal their sexual preferences. Though an imperfect measure, it was a more liberal policy than the previous one. In practice, it allowed thousands of gay Americans to serve in the military; but they had to keep silent about their preferences. Activists critized the policy saying it compelled people to secrecy and did not fight prejudice against them. The "Don´t ask, don´t tell" policy was repealed by the Obama administration.
