so i've watched graves of the fireflies. its a really sad movie and i really enjoy rewatching it in my free time.
Conflict is so important because that is what makes a story. It makes a reader want to read whatever it is. It shows how characters develop and grow.
I believe the tone is somewhat dramatic based on the dialogue such as "shot his hand out in front of him", it makes the story seem a lot more interesting than what it really is; a normal encounter.
