4 0
First you divide everything by 4 which will become b^2+2b-3=0
Then you can factor this which is
(b-1)(b+3)=0
B=1
B=-3 ... I think that's how you do it

I NEED HELP ASAP!!!!!!! Given the statement -12 ≤ -15, which of the following is correct?
Allushta [10]

Answer:

D. It is a false statement, because -15 is less than -12.

Step-by-step explanation:

-12 is greater than -15 because on a number line, -12 is closer to 0 and the positives than -15. In the statement, it says that -12 is less than -15, but we just proved that wrong above. Option D is correct, because it says what we said above.

I hope this helps!

IrinaVladis [17]

Answer:

A. dilation by a scale factor of 1/3

B. translation to the left 4 units

C. translation down 3 units

Step-by-step explanation:

On a coordinate plane,

triangle A has points (3, 3), (6, 3), (6, 9).

Triangle A prime has points (negative 2, negative 1), (negative 2, negative 2), (negative 3, negative 2).

Determine all the transformations needed to transform the pre-image, A, to the image, A'.

Select all that apply, given

A=(3,3),(6,3),(6,9)

A'=(-2,-1),(-2,-2),(-3,-2)  possible typo, should read

A'=(-2,0),(-2,-2),(-3,-2)

dilation by a scale factor of 1/2

dilation by a scale factor of 1/3

reflection over the x-axis

translation to the left 4 units

translation down 3 units

If the typo correction is valid, then the transformatitons are:

A. dilation by a scale factor of 1/3

B. translation to the left 4 units

C. translation down 3 units
