1) we calculate the total cost of all items:

Total cost=27 * $1.25 + 5 *1.99$ + 1*1.5$=$33.75 + $9.95 + $1.5=$45.2

2)we express the total cost in cents:
$1=100 cents

$45.2=$45.2 * (100 cents /$1)=4520 cents.

3)we divide 4520 cents  among the number of pupils

Each student will pay=4520 cents / 26 =173.84... cents≈174 cents.

Answer: Each student will pay 174 cents.

Why do we say that a number is squared when raised to the power of 2
yawa3891 [41]

Answer:

x=i√33−3,−i√33−3

hope this helps :)

Step-by-step explanation:

Subtract 5 from both sides of the equation.

(x+3)2=−28−

5 Subtract 5 from −28.

(x+3)2=−33

Take the square root of both sides of the equation to eliminate the exponent on the left side.

x+3=±√−33

Simplify the right side of the equation.

x+3=±i√33

The complete solution is the result of both the positive and negative portions of the solution.

x=i√33−3,− i√33 −3
