Which is President Kennedy’s intent when using questions in the last paragraph of this excerpt?
Delvig [45]
If you look at the questions, you can see that they do not actually demand an answer: they are rhetorical questions. Namely, he wants the listeners to ask themselves the questions, and answer with a "yes" - he wants them to thing about whether they will join and he wants them to say "yes" - so the answer is that he wants to motivate the listeners - the answer is A)

Explain what is Realism and how this literary form differs from Transcendentalism
Sergio [31]

Literary realism is a literary genre that depicts reality as it is in actual life by depicting banal, everyday occurrences. See more below.

What does literary realism show?

It typically depicts the middle and lower classes of society, with familiar people, places, and tales. The rejection of legendary entities is an example of realism.

What is Transcendentalism?

Transcendentalism depicts the idea of discovering the truth beyond experience and reason.

As a result, it is demonstrated that the truth can be established without the use of hard proof.

In terms of realism, it depicts a realistic picture of the real world in literature by disclosing ordinary situations.

Which type of faulty logic does this sentence contain? If the workers' demands are not met by the deadline, the town will suffer
Aleksandr-060686 [28]
The faulty logic in this sentence is an example of an either-or-fallacy. Given the construction of this type of fallacy it posits that the potential outcomes of a situation are usually a singular event such as in this example the only result is a prolonged strike and it will be economically crippling, this may happen but a variety of options could happen as well.

Pls HELP
Alinara [238K]

Answer:

Kristallnacht or the Night of Broken Glass, also called the November Pogrom(s) (German: Novemberpogrome, pronounced (listen)), was a pogrom against Jews carried out by SA paramilitary forces and civilians throughout Nazi Germany on 9–10 November 1938. The German authorities looked on without intervening. The name Kristallnacht ("Crystal Night") comes from the shards of broken glass that littered the streets after the windows of Jewish-owned stores, buildings and synagogues were smashed. The pretext for the attacks was the assassination of the German diplomat Ernst vom Rath by Herschel Grynszpan, a 17-year-old German-born Polish Jew living in Paris. Jewish homes, hospitals and schools were ransacked as attackers demolished buildings with sledgehammers. Rioters destroyed 267 synagogues throughout Germany, Austria and the Sudetenland. Over 7,000 Jewish businesses were damaged or destroyed, and 30,000 Jewish men were arrested and incarcerated in concentration camps. British historian Martin Gilbert wrote that no event in the history of German Jews between 1933 and 1945 was so widely reported as it was happening, and the accounts from foreign journalists working in Germany sent shockwaves around the world. The Times of London observed on 11 November 1938: "No foreign propagandist bent upon blackening Germany before the world could outdo the tale of burnings and beatings, of blackguardly assaults on defenseless and innocent people, which disgraced that country yesterday."
