A rational number is the one which can be written in the form of (fraction) p/q, following the condition that q (denominator) must not be equal to zero. (because something divided by 0 gives infinity)
Examples: 3, 2/7, 12345/67
A simple integer can also be said as a rational number, taking 1 as its denominator. Like 5 is a rational number having p/q form as 5/1
