The sound device used by Edgar Allan Poe in this poem is known as alliteration, i.e. the repetition of a sound, usually a consonant or a group of consonants, as in the case of the "f" in "fairy fruits and flowers". Also, this is a rhymed poem, in which the word "shrine" has the same ending as the word "mine"; this sound device is known as consonance.
